Verizon iPhone: "doesn't support simultaneous voice and data"
HAHA SUX BRO
Alternate headline: Verison iPhone doesn’t support further recoiling from society into machines.
And anyone who is “busy” enough to talk on the phone and use the internet at the same time should probably be doing something more productive.
But that’s exactly the point. The ability to be as productive as possible often depends on my ability to talk on the phone and use the internet at the same time. I can’t tell you how often I’m on work phone calls and looking stuff up on the internet at the same time on my iPhone.
Not having that ability would be crippling. Besides, it’s my understanding that the Droid supports simultaneous talk and data, so I don’t see any reason that Verizon would exclude that feature from the iPhone.
Verizon can do simultaneous data and voice if the phone has the proper hardware. I would probably blame Apple for this mistake.
